Mission

To produce opera which inspires and educates young and old, provides opportunity for local singers, and fosters access to the dramatic arts in the Inland Northwest.

Vision

We envision opera as a catalyst for artistic growth and civic pride, bridging generations by the power of music and helping to make the Inland Northwest a vibrant cultural home where music, storytelling, and human connection thrive

Values

  1. Human Enrichment: We believe that the natural voice is a powerful expression of emotion and beauty. In opera, which is linked to all theatrical arts, we convey significant human stories from the past and present.
  2. Accessibility:  We believe that everyone deserves access to affordable, high-quality opera.
  3. Education: We believe a life-long appreciation for the Arts can be cultivated at all ages.
  4. Commitment: We believe in nurturing the careers of emerging artists, providing them a venue for performance, along with weaving the fabric of our communities together through music.

Board Of Directors

Mike Bullard

President

is a writer, retired pastor, and a perennial chorus member and comprimario (one-line singer), with Opera Plus, Opera CdA and INO since its founding.

Owen Smith

a retired science professor from UCLA and private pilot, is an avid and
knowledgeable lover and supporter of traditional opera.

Anne LaBella

holds a Bachelor of Music and is both an accomplished soubrette soprano and a professional project and production manager. She loves creative, contemporary opera.

Tyler Wallinger

Lyric baritone, has sung choral, classical and opera music in many professional
venues since childhood and is Sales Director of an international hospitality company.

Katelyn Wallinger

soprano and voice teacher, is accomplished in operatic singing and musical
theater.
